  • Wondering Into I Can

    Wondering Into I Can

    The illusion of I can’t
    Evaporates into a gentle wind,
To become an inevitable I can.

    And its box of reasons
    Turn to wheel,
    When the seed of want,
Is planted in the soil of passion.

    Watered with
    The feelings of wondering love,
    And nourished by
    The thoughts of creative imagination.

    The bud of possibility
    Finds a way through doubts,
    It spreads courageous leaves too
That can seize the chance light.

    Each period of development
    It is a silent protest
Within the quiet words of boundaries,
At the same time, mute declaration
    Of the unexplored capacities.

The map of the inner realm
    Changes in numerous ways
    The horizons that seemed remote
Now lie close to extended hands.

    In the field of confidence,
    Where “I can’t’ withers away,
    Whereas “I can” grows
Into vast forests of endless becoming.

  • Dancing With the Universe

    Dancing With the Universe

    Life waits for us,
    A starry-clad wild dancer-
    Shall we refuse this call,
Or shall we take its hold?
    Do we want to be
    A complaining gray mouse,
    Or would it make sense
To join in on the heavenly dance
    Of floor,
That is not resplendent like other stars?

Those who dare tango with existence,
    Find themselves swept away
    Into a grand love affair,
    Where trust blossoms
    Like a supernova,
That destroys all illusions of being,
    Separate entities from each other.

    Because every breath
    we breathe out,
    Is a message of love.
    While every single occasion
    Remembered
    Not in order only,
    But rather forever.

    On the mountains of today,
    Lie the possibilities
    Of tomorrow.
    For who knows where
    They may send us
Into some unexplored part of being?
As life who loves us passionately,
Whirls us in and out of galaxies
That are made up of holy moments,
    We are shown fresh constellations
    Of wonder in each revolution.

    Instead,
    This means to dance
    With the universe
Is an acceptance of its music,
    Even if sometimes
    It becomes disharmonious
    To our ears.
    It means getting rid
    Of heavy armor
    Against all that we would.
    Instead,
    Embark into espousing
    Light gowns that
    Is acceptance.

    Within this cosmic ballet,
    We are student and creator,
    Learning steps undreamed before,
    Now interweaving patterns
More delicate than we had imagined.

    And so,
As the sun spins around through space,
Take another spin around that star.
    Realize how much it is
That we share with this life,
    For once there would be
    Nothing else
    But its pure essence
    When at last –
Without any thought or effort at all –
    We become what we have
    Always been in our hearts:
    Simply dancing.

  • Tranquility

    Tranquility

    For each of us,
    His own song,
    And own creative music.
    For each of us,
    A healing frequency.
    This is tranquility.

    In the silence between notes,
    We find our rhythm true.
    Each heartbeat a cadence,
    Each breath a gentle refrain.
    Our melody unfolds,
    Unique as morning dew.

    This harmony we seek,
    Is found within our chord.
    A personal symphony,
    That opens every door.
    To peace and understanding,
    Forevermore.

  • Color the Magic

    Color the Magic

    The sky above
    Griffith Park is
    Black and white,
    A canvas primed.

    Ancient light,
    Millions of years old,
    Dances gracefully
    On a black surface
    Of the universe.
    Painting the seasons
    With cosmic hues.

    Stars holding hands,
    Singing so brightly.
    I climb the hill,
    Bathed in the glow
    Of the moon’s gentle smile.

    And I watch the trees
    Breathe. Inhale,
    Exhale.

    Leaves chatting
    Each other up.
    Colorful threads,
    Connect the leaves,
    To the sky’s light.

    Connect the leaves,
    To the forest,
    And all of its life.
    Connect the leaves
    To me.

    A surrender
    In wonder.

    Colorful threads,
    Love.

    Revealed.

    In every breath,
    In every beam.

  • What Else?

    What Else?

From the deeper recesses of my brain,
    I call forth whole worlds,
    Whose births are unto galaxies,
    From the tongue and fingertips.
They are bright spatial plains I create.

    Then comes my magnificent creations,
    Around which others revolve
    Without knowing what compels them.
    I attract.

    Even though the gravity
Of producing pulls within my bones
    I grow tired,
    Listening to whispers similar
To that of a black hole,
    Sometimes I rest,
    Satiated by someone else’s food,
    But the meal is empty.

    I still carry on.
    Whenever it fails
To elicit any interest from me
    In isolation,
I move forward on the path
    As impenetrable as a diamond.

What else is there for me
    Except dying or creating?
I offer my own interpretation of the universe
    Singing into the vast emptiness.

  • Curiosity’s Compass: The Alchemy of Purpose

Curiosity’s Compass: The Alchemy of Purpose

The flame of knowledge and curiosity
Should merge in the dance of life.
What do I know? What explodes my amazement?
Here unfolds strength, my gift to the world.
Who drinks from my pool of knowledge?
Whose lives are influenced by my “why’s”?

This is the point of confluence where vocation thrives,
As a fruitful garden is punctiliously landscaped.
How have they developed “my babies”?
What feelings take root in their hearts?
The meaning of a well-spent life is found
In the mirth and progress of others.

    We come into this world
    Without being complete,
Yet can be said to have everything
    Necessary for making our tune.
Life is like a canvas waiting for my hand
To paint chords where we belong.

Thus we put names on things,
Adding our own words to the great song,
Not to jostle but rather to augment
    – A melody of joy intermingled with sorrow.

    We make use of eyesight for what is visible;
    Touch things that are tangible,
And sense the invisible presence hovering around us.
    However, Mother Earth’s deep heart,
    Gaps in space,
Are still a sealed book and
    Beyond our ken.

    The pathway to wisdom,
    Knowledge interwoven with curiosity,
Is lit on through seeking, sharing, and reflecting.

  • Faith is Recognition

    Faith is Recognition

    Invisible world out.
    Beyond what eyes can see.
    Faith, the key,
But how can we calculate it?

The hidden force that is known
    We recognize it
    Only believing by faith
    But wisdom’s source
    Giving the unknown a name.

    That is what faith is.
    What depths of cosmic stream.
    Mind supports campaigns
Which neither sense of logic nor thinking helps out.

    Quantum worlds and mystical thoughts.
In the wilderness faith finds a pattern
Where no other man can find one.

    Nothing can touch us
    But we are touched.
Faith and knowledge move side by side.

    Transformational power lies
    To recognize is to transform.
Our inner norm takes its shape from faith
    It endeavors into infinite potentialities.

  • Let There Be Light

    Let There Be Light

    Light comes in,
    And shadows go away,
    Not vanquished,
    But veiled.

    As with concealed memories
Waiting out there at the edge
    Of consciousness.
    Darkness makes its spooky mark,
A palimpsest on the fabric of space.

    Yet light could obliterate,
    However,
    The trace remains,
    A black relief.

    As brightness increases,
    Shadows disappear.
Our form appears to rise, unraveled.
    The more luminous we become,
    The lighter we weigh,
    Through light’s caress matter ends.

    In this equilibrium
    Between seen and unseen,
Light wipes off what is hidden beneath it.
    But then,
There is a trick you can do with your fingers:
    Press it.

    Make it brighter
Or darker, that’s up to you
    The decision is yours
But it’s something that’s not often known.
In warm bright or cold dark contact
Your core discovers how to go down or stay up.

  • Death Opens Doors

    Death Opens Doors

At the end of this excursion and its light intense expedition,
Death comes prowling with a cordial welcome,
    Like an amiable genial host,
For all of us who instinctively and involuntarily,
Receive his faded invitation at the moment of our birth.

His long anticipated alleviation comes startlingly,
Only to hit us with the certainty of a sacred approach,
As we emerge into his obedient audience,
And he into our past new navigator.

We instantly exit and we enter,
Another ingredient of who we are,
    -The cook prepares the feast-,
The clarity of this new mode announces,
    The fearless recurrence with jubilation,
    I will not resist.

Yet I’ll leave when I wish.
