    Perspectives & Mirrors

    Your mind’s beauty is shown
    Throughout the world like
    The canvas which has been
Influenced by perception’s hues of color.
The world just mirrors beauty of mind.

The design is so complicated and perfect
In its detail that the only thing wrong about it
    Is our vision –
All full of prejudice scribing concepts
    That criticize creation’s masterpiece,
That state what is good and evil.
    People do not ever see their evil;
We claim to fight it and invoke demons.
This is a holy place for evildoers.

Would we not have different perceptions
If we could make this world a better place,
Marked everywhere in light of day?
    Ignoring the narrative
    That remains largely unheard,
    Of kindness by deed
That does not involve any sound or sign.

    When volunteers give their time
    To gentle creatures,
With a loving hand they rear otters.
    And parents working day
And night without rest in this unfriendly world
To raise up their kids well.

    Healers give away their skills,
Others give to feed the starving.
Isn’t it what we refer to as goodness?
The stories that deserve to be appreciated.

It’s high time that we balanced tales:
One part illumination, one part obscurity.
For a word that describes both the internal and external beauty
Within and around us, it should be “love”.

The beauty that we see in this world of wonder
    And woe
Defines who we are as individuals.
    Let us now narrate
    The comprehensive story
    According to which all shine
    As distinct brilliant stars.

  • Let There Be Light

    Let There Be Light

    Light comes in,
    And shadows go away,
    Not vanquished,
    But veiled.

    As with concealed memories
Waiting out there at the edge
    Of consciousness.
    Darkness makes its spooky mark,
A palimpsest on the fabric of space.

    Yet light could obliterate,
    However,
    The trace remains,
    A black relief.

    As brightness increases,
    Shadows disappear.
Our form appears to rise, unraveled.
    The more luminous we become,
    The lighter we weigh,
    Through light’s caress matter ends.

    In this equilibrium
    Between seen and unseen,
Light wipes off what is hidden beneath it.
    But then,
There is a trick you can do with your fingers:
    Press it.

    Make it brighter
Or darker, that’s up to you
    The decision is yours
But it’s something that’s not often known.
In warm bright or cold dark contact
Your core discovers how to go down or stay up.

  • Death Opens Doors

    Death Opens Doors

At the end of this excursion and its light intense expedition,
Death comes prowling with a cordial welcome,
    Like an amiable genial host,
For all of us who instinctively and involuntarily,
Receive his faded invitation at the moment of our birth.

His long anticipated alleviation comes startlingly,
Only to hit us with the certainty of a sacred approach,
As we emerge into his obedient audience,
And he into our past new navigator.

We instantly exit and we enter,
Another ingredient of who we are,
    -The cook prepares the feast-,
The clarity of this new mode announces,
    The fearless recurrence with jubilation,
    I will not resist.

Yet I’ll leave when I wish.

  • Essence Unmasked

    Essence Unmasked

    Naked at the mirror
    I search the night
    Behind the skies
    Vast and starless
    I often throw my net
    Into the cosmic void
    And to my bewildered reminiscence
    I always catch myself
    Reflected in the universe’s eye

  • The Atemporal Door

    The Atemporal Door

    There is one way,
To slip past time’s relentless hold.
    Through light’s dimension,
We may attain an existence outside time.

    Untangled from all events’ chains,
That bind us to before-and-after pains,
    Touching light speed is
The liberating grace we dwell on.

An opening through which our souls could pass,
To break free of temporality’s grasp,
    And bask in the eternity.

  • From the End

    From the End

    Through time’s mist,
    we glimpse,
    At a future
    Already here.

    What we seek,
    We first conceive
    In our mind’s eye.

    Neurons vibrate
    To futures visualized,
    As if the present
    Is a drum.

    In this moment,
    We ignite
    The dreams
    We believe.

    Release the doubt
    That holds us back.
    In the now,
    we choose abundance.

    Visualize
    With heart ablaze,
    Affirm
    With passion’s words.
    Living from the end,
    we raise
    Our vibration by choice.

    The universe conspires,
With those who dare to see,
    In every thought,
    In every image,
    In every way.

    Patience, of course,
    Seeds do take time
To sprout and reach the sun.
    But our minds,
    Attained.

    From the end,
    we now begin,
    The future
    Is here,
    beneath our skin,
    In every word
    And all we do.

    Live as if your dreams
    Came true,
    Embody all
    you could be.
    In this practice,
    Lies the key.

  • Diadem of Self

    Diadem of Self

    Sun kisses my eyelids,
    I am awake.

    Gratitude a marching beat,
    In my chest.
    The simple beauty,
    Is everywhere.

    Love breathes into
    The tasks I meet,
    A soft warmth
    In every step.

    Humility paves the way,
    Humble thoughts guide me,
    In the choices I make,
    Deep inside.

    Each day reveals,
    A precious stone.
    From laughs
    To wise thoughts,

    With clear eyes,
    I see the world,
    My own reflection,
    A diadem.

  • Slay the Giants Within

    Slay the Giants Within

    Find love in yourself,
    And when you meet
    The hungry giants of evil,
    Feed them from your heart.

    Witness the fight
    Of success and failure,
    Of life and death.
    You’ll find only one hero-
And the other does not exist.

  • The Paradox of Preference

    The Paradox of Preference

    People prefer politeness
    Over kindness.
    Politeness creates boundaries,
    Within the comfort zone.
    Kindness is intimate,
    It penetrates through the skin,
    And touches the heart.
    Politeness dresses nicely,
    Kindness is naked.

Politeness is a mask we wear,
    Kindness, the face beneath.
    One shields, the other shares,
    Our true humanity.

    People prefer the shallow,
    Over the deep and true.
    Skimming life’s surface,
Afraid to dive into the blue.

    People prefer entertainment,
    Over reality, journey, friendship,
    Exploration and discoveries.
    It is harder to consume
    The fabricated,
    Than it is to feel
    Life.

    Reality demands presence,
    Entertainment is a mere distraction.
    Only one shapes our essence.

    In the quiet of authenticity,
    We find our loudest truths.
    Yet we cling to noise,
Evading the wisdom of our youth.

    People’s preference is
    A paradox.
