    Ecology of Souls

    The air croons
    with unspoken things,
    a vast, unseen web,
    like mycelium beneath the woods,
    binding every breath.

    The old man,
    still sitting on the bench,
his eyes fixed in a cloud
    a distance away,
    adds to the silence shared,
    a root sipping slow knowledge.

    The elated dancer
    spinning, a blur of motion,
    releasing joy,
    a spurt of pollen,
    seeds carried on the wind,
    to fertilize forgotten corners.

    A child’s wild laughter,
    a sudden burst of light,
    shocks the grackles,
    and radiates out,
    contagiously undeniable.

    The mourning widow,
    a stone thrown
    into a calm lake,
    casts concentric circles of sorrow,
    that touch distant
    unseen shores.

    We are not islands,
    though we feel solitary,
    each thought, each feeling,
    a unique creature
    in a linked ecosystem,
    interdependent.

    The sharp word,
    a toxic spill,
    can taint the nearby stream.
    The gentle touch,
    a spring rain,
    nourishes the thirsty soil.

    And when one heart departs,
it’s not an end, but a beginning,
    a shift, a transformation,
    the essence of existence
    returning
    to feed the earth
    of what remains.

    Continuous cycle,
    of giving and receiving,
    of blooming and fall,
    the ecology of souls,
    breathing in, breathing out,
    now and forever.

  • I Wish

    I Wish

    I wish for you
A life lived being aware of blessings,
    In each day’s breakfast
    With sunlight piercing your eyes.

    I wish for you
    Nights that hug you,
With the moon giving a gentle smile
    In your sleep.

    I wish
    For love to take over
The daily routines made by you,
While humility stands as an echo to your works.

    May you stand happy,
Your own light shining from within you!
May there be no shadow on your face!

    I wish for you
Smiles that litter your day with sunshine,
    With laughter as blended hours,
    Wisdom and ascent.

    I wish
That your challenges be stepping stones,
    Every struggle a tutor
Guiding you towards a higher apex.

    I wish
    You moments full of inspiration,
    Warmth, affection, and joviality.

    I wish
    Love for you
That is very rich, deep, and genuine.

    I wish
For your heart to be like a shrine,
    Where sympathy thrives
And forgiveness flows gently like a stream.

    And
    As I spread
    This love with you
    Within that divine space
    Where love makes do
    And becomes us,

    I wish for you
A spirit that knows not fear,
    Unencumbered by negative thoughts,
But rather grasping life’s great adventure.

    I wish
    All your wishes come true.

  • Happiness

    Happiness

    Happiness once said to me,
“Walk this path and you will find paradise.”
So I rushed, I ran and I suffered,
Blind to all but the promised reward.

Until I met sadness who said to me,
“Don’t rush there, man or you will find nothing.”
Of course I accused him of being a liar,
A rain on my sunny dreaming.

So I set my mark and walked the dark tunnel,
Each step echoing with hope and fear,
    Until I found my paradise,
    It seemed so near.

I raised my hand to touch it,
    Fingers trembling with desire,
And I found nothing but mud,
My dreams sunk in earthly mire.

Yet in that mud, a seed might grow,
Of wisdom earned, not freely given.
Perhaps true joy lies not in chasing,
But in living each moment, fully.

  • Diadem of Self

    Diadem of Self

    Sun kisses my eyelids,
    I am awake.

    Gratitude a marching beat,
    In my chest.
    The simple beauty,
    Is everywhere.

    Love breathes into
    The tasks I meet,
    A soft warmth
    In every step.

    Humility paves the way,
    Humble thoughts guide me,
    In the choices I make,
    Deep inside.

    Each day reveals,
    A precious stone.
    From laughs
    To wise thoughts,

    With clear eyes,
    I see the world,
    My own reflection,
    A diadem.
