relationships

  • The Intertwining

    The Intertwining

    Relationships end,
    by the silent selfish decisions
    we make in secrecy and
    carve into the stone.

You say it first to yourself,
tattoo it on your partner’s heart,
    but the words linger
    like a burden they were
    never intended to bear.

    A moment’s space,
    a breath of air,
    becomes a gulf
    unintentionally carved.

    We hear stories of bonds
    blessed and unbroken,
    a melody composed
    by numerous harmonious voices.

    One truth sings:
    Two souls traveling together,
    hand in hand,
    even across desolate areas,
    discover that the landscape
    is shifting and that
    there is a constant dance
    of motion and stillness.

It is the rhythm of life itself:
    the steady beat,
    the comforting rest,
    the sleep that revives,
    the shelter shared in common,
    the roots that tie.

It is the courage to say
    the truth of your senses:
the colors that stain your portrait,
the scents that stir your remembrance,
    the emotions that beat within,
the thoughts that form your world.

    Are these given,
    shared with the waiting ear,
    the seeing eye?

    And is your partner visible,
    known in their own right?

Is it not the intertwining of moments,
    the micro and the macro,
    that forge the strongest ties?

    The treasure is not
    in running away from demons,
but in walking together through them,
    hand in hand,
    to the dawn of day.

    The path has been trod
    by many feet.
    Seek wisdom in those
    who have trod before you,
    embrace the solace of solitude,
    the healing power of forgiveness,
    the strength of connection,
    the softness of compassion,
    the unwavering hand of grace,
    the quiet certainty of faith,
    the boundless ocean of love,
and the simple gift of self.

    And have your stories told,
    by ears that truly hear,
    by eyes that truly see.

  • Love’s Natural Harmony

    Love’s Natural Harmony

    Fear of love
    sprouts from the soil
    of misunderstanding—
    uncertainty of how
    it truly manifests and blooms.

    Love reveals itself
    in shared journeys,
    two souls entwined
    in mutual evolution
    and shared growth.
    This connection births
    meaningful moments,
    like sunlight refracting
    through crystals,
    casting vibrant colors
    upon life’s canvas.

    We smile, laugh,
    and rejoice together.
    We weep, ache,
    and share grief.
    Two beings ascending
    side by side,
    roots entangled,
    branches hugging.

    What defines love
    is its depth of soul—
    not the comfort found
    in hiding safely within walls,
    but the courage in knowing
    our expanding horizons
    remain secure
    in the presence
    of our beloved.
    Love thrives and blossoms
    in authentic
    and genuine experience.

    Have you ever
    rested your head back,
    eyes skyward,
    palms gently unfurled
    towards the heavens?
    It is, quite literally,
    an embrace of the infinite.

    Can you imagine
    and describe a blend
    that feels and tastes
    effortlessly natural,
    simple yet thoughtfully crafted,
    existing everywhere
    yet remarkably rare?
    Like dawn’s light
    streaming softly
    through autumn’s foliage—
    commonplace
    yet uniquely breathtaking
    and rarely discovered.

    Such harmonies emerge
    in nature’s unforced
    and spontaneous symphony,
    in home-cooked meals
    seasoned with care,
    in bonds where spirits
    complement effortlessly.
    Though the ingredients
    may be ordinary,
    their unity forms
a rare jewel and an element—
    simultaneously familiar
    and profoundly precious.

  • Beyond Judgement

    Beyond Judgement

    Don’t mistake judgment for knowing.
    Don’t confuse lack of judgment
    with weakness.

    Before you know someone,
    you must first know
    and forgive yourself.
    Then you shall
    be blessed
    to know another.
    And when you do,
    you forgive.

    How can we
    receive and give,
    freely and genuinely,
    if we stubbornly block
    with a judgment passed—
    given or received?

    Is it possible
    to truly live,
    without dignity?

    What we take
    from others,
    we take away
    from ourselves first.
    What we give others,
    we give ourselves first.

    Forgiveness doesn’t appear
    after judgment;
    it is always prior.
    A choice.
    It is innocence matured.
    And clarity
    lights the path
    toward forgiveness.

    Don’t let the grace
    of forgiveness
    slip past
    your awareness.
    Don’t remain attached
    to the wrong relationships.
    Show up
    and be present.

    We can’t grow—
    if our bodies get older,
    yet mentally, emotionally,
    and spiritually we are
    at a standstill in time.

  • What We Allow, We Become

    What We Allow, We Become

    It’s not your time
    all the time.
    There is always
    a participant.

    You reap
    what you allow,
    receive
    what you give.

    Allow love,
    and love will touch you.
    Allow distance,
    and distance will grow.
    Allow harm,
    and wounds will follow.

    We think of ourselves,
    our reasons, our intent—
    but thoughts spark senses,
    senses ignite emotions,
    and emotions shape the world.

    Trapped in our own design,
we see only our little box,
    blind to the truth,
    to the reality,
    to our own creation.

    Step back.
    Lift your head.
    Look at your garden.

Are the ones who love you
    smiling at you?
    Are you smiling at yourself—
    with forgiveness in your face
    and grace in your embrace?

    When you cause harm,
    you fail yourself,
    you lose your soul.
    A knife cuts
the hand that wields it first,
for a knife is only found
    in darkness.

    See what is.
How close are the deepest connections?

    Wisdom is ancient.
    Seek the old.
    The harmonious relationship
    is a story best told
by a teacher who has lived it,
to a curious mind that longs to know—
    the thoughts of the wise,
    the emotions of the youth.

    Be considerate.
    Be kind.
    Be gracious.
    Be whole.
    Be you connected to.

    May I be
    connected to.

  • The Host

    The Host

    Don’t seek the perfect partner,
The most handsome or most beautiful.
    Don’t choose based on wealth,
    Status, or power,
    For these are fleeting illusions,
Gone with the rising sun of reality.

    Choose a partner who
    Is right for you
    Because of their mind,
    Their heart, and their soul.
A labyrinth of wonder and wisdom,
    Their heart,
A wellspring of empathy and warmth,
    And their soul,
A constellation of dreams and depth.
    These are the foundations
    Of a bond that endures,
    Like roots.
    Nothing else truly matters.
    Nothing else nurtures growth,
    Harmony, and love,
The three pillars of a shared paradise.

    Polarity is reality.
    Yin and yang.
    Why feed on a victim
When you can feast with a lover?
    One leaves you hollow,
    The other fills you whole.
    The allure of masks and
    Artificiality fades quickly,
Like chalk paint washed away by rain,
Leaving only the sting of their harm,
Felt by the perpetrator for eternity.
    True connection cannot
    Be forged from pretense;
It blooms only where there is honesty,
    A blue lotus in the
    Garden of humanity.

Peace is found only in the natural,
Like a river finding the sea.
    And nature is naked, vulnerable,
Honest, as the sky’s changing moods,
Considerate, as a tree offering shade,
Kind, as a mother bird feeding her young,
Respectful, as the moon to the sun’s reign,
Trusting, as a seed in fertile soil,
    Genuine, as a wolf’s howl,
    Principled, as the changing seasons,
And loving. as the earth nurturing all life.
    The right one for you
Is the one who arrives in peace—
    Naked, vulnerable, and honest,
Unafraid to reveal their true self.

    The right one is the
    One with open arms,
    An open heart, a sanctuary,
    And an open home.
    They welcome you with generosity,
    Like a spring overflowing,
Hospitality, as embracing as the hearth,
    Thoughtfulness, as a deep wisdom,
    And attentiveness—
A gracious host for your love,
Just as you are for theirs.
    Together,
    You create a sanctuary,
A sacred space where love flourishes.

    Time spent in kindness
    Is time spent in
    Your own Garden of Eden,
    Where every moment is
    A testament to the beauty
Of a love that is pure and true,
And a pearl on eternity’s string.
    In this garden, you find
    Not just a partner,
    But a soultwin—
    One who mirrors your essence
    And walks beside you
    On the path of life,
    Two flames illuminating
    The journey ahead.

  • You Can’t Lose What Is True

You Can’t Lose What Is True

    You can’t lose
    What is true.
    You can’t lose
    What is authentic.

    You can not lose love.
    You can not lose friendship.
    You can not lose kindness.
If it’s true, it shines back,
    A beacon in the dark.

    Freedom is an accepting
    Connection between two.
Both are allowed to be themselves,
    When both accommodate growth.
A dance of give and take,
    A symphony of shared space.

    Two together.
    Be curious, learn.
    Avoid the harmful.
    Quench the fruitful,
    The uplifting towards the light,
    And the motivating to illuminate.
    In this garden of togetherness,
    We grow towards the sun.

    Save, hold back
    Shrink the comfortable
    Space to be,
    And you lose.
    For true connection
    Needs room to breathe.

    To love
    Is to give of
    The love within,
    For self.
    Love between two,
    Is love in
    The space between.
    A bridge of light
    Connecting heart to heart.

    Authenticity,
    A reflection of the soul.
    Be vulnerable,
    Reveal, don’t hide
    The true meaning.
    See the soul,
    In yourself and others.
For in this nakedness of spirit,
    We find our truest selves.

In the mirror of authentic connection,
    We lose only our illusions,
    And gain the world.

  • Control

    Control

    Control over a person
    Takes many forms:
    Thoughts, emotions, movements,
    Environment, habits,
    The pace of a relationship,
    A group, an organization,
    Natural resources,
    The wealth of a nation—
    The list goes on.
    And on.

    A relationship
    Bound by authority
    Cannot breathe,
    Cannot thrive.

    Wisdom lies in respect
    For the other.
    Control is rooted
    In disregard.

    Those who seek
    To control others
    Reveal their emptiness—
    Lacking meaning,
    Trapped in their own
    Prison of dominance.

    But those who love,
    Who feel empathy,
    Who offer kindness—
    They experience life,
    They create and become.
    For them, freedom
    Is the wellspring of meaning.

    We live in what we
    Create for others.

    But how do we embrace
    Our abundance?
    The abundance of rights
    And freedoms—
    Individual, collective,
    In harmony—
    The rights of our earth,
    Above and below.

    The freedom to express
    And…

    We see, hear, and feel
    Peace in its beauty—
    And its horrors
    In the chaos of survival.

    One lives fully,
    The other clings
    To survival.

    We do not live
    Our abundance together.
    Why?

  • In Giving, In Relationship

    In Giving, In Relationship

    It’s been said before,
    “Do unto others,
    As you would have them
    Do unto you.”

    How do we interact
    With our inner selves?
To what depths do we reach?

    Whatever you offer others,
You must nurture in yourself first,
    Lest your wellspring run dry.

    To be kind
    Is to cultivate love within.
    If you dwell on I,
    You lose sight of We.
    And no I is
    Without the embrace
    Of the We.

    The kindness in giving
    Is a radiant energy,
    A resonance and a pulse.
    Giving of ourselves
    Ignites friction.
    Friction births a spark.
    Collision unveils new beginnings.

    A single spark
    Illuminates eternity.

  • Lines

    Lines

    Boundaries blur,
    Borders break.
    Tension builds,
    Voices rise.
    Patience wears thin,
    Like a fraying rope.
    Lines are crossed,
    When the screaming,
    starts.
    No one listens.
