  • What Else?

    What Else?

From the deeper recesses of my brain,
    I call forth whole worlds,
    Whose births are unto galaxies,
    From the tongue and fingertips.
They are bright spatial plains I create.

    Then comes my magnificent creations,
    Around which others revolve
    Without knowing what compels them.
    I attract.

    Even though the gravity
Of producing pulls within my bones
    I grow tired,
    Listening to whispers similar
To that of a black hole,
    Sometimes I rest,
    Satiated by someone else’s food,
    But the meal is empty.

    I still carry on.
    Whenever it fails
To elicit any interest from me
    In isolation,
I move forward on the path
    As impenetrable as a diamond.

What else is there for me
    Except dying or creating?
I offer my own interpretation of the universe
    Singing into the vast emptiness.

  • Let There Be Light

    Let There Be Light

    Light comes in,
    And shadows go away,
    Not vanquished,
    But veiled.

    As with concealed memories
Waiting out there at the edge
    Of consciousness.
    Darkness makes its spooky mark,
A palimpsest on the fabric of space.

    Yet light could obliterate,
    However,
    The trace remains,
    A black relief.

    As brightness increases,
    Shadows disappear.
Our form appears to rise, unraveled.
    The more luminous we become,
    The lighter we weigh,
    Through light’s caress matter ends.

    In this equilibrium
    Between seen and unseen,
Light wipes off what is hidden beneath it.
    But then,
There is a trick you can do with your fingers:
    Press it.

    Make it brighter
Or darker, that’s up to you
    The decision is yours
But it’s something that’s not often known.
In warm bright or cold dark contact
Your core discovers how to go down or stay up.

  • Essence Unmasked

    Essence Unmasked

    Naked at the mirror
    I search the night
    Behind the skies
    Vast and starless
    I often throw my net
    Into the cosmic void
    And to my bewildered reminiscence
    I always catch myself
    Reflected in the universe’s eye

  • The Paradox of Preference

    The Paradox of Preference

    People prefer politeness
    Over kindness.
    Politeness creates boundaries,
    Within the comfort zone.
    Kindness is intimate,
    It penetrates through the skin,
    And touches the heart.
    Politeness dresses nicely,
    Kindness is naked.

Politeness is a mask we wear,
    Kindness, the face beneath.
    One shields, the other shares,
    Our true humanity.

    People prefer the shallow,
    Over the deep and true.
    Skimming life’s surface,
Afraid to dive into the blue.

    People prefer entertainment,
    Over reality, journey, friendship,
    Exploration and discoveries.
    It is harder to consume
    The fabricated,
    Than it is to feel
    Life.

    Reality demands presence,
    Entertainment is a mere distraction.
    Only one shapes our essence.

    In the quiet of authenticity,
    We find our loudest truths.
    Yet we cling to noise,
Evading the wisdom of our youth.

    People’s preference is
    A paradox.

  • Humble Pursuit

    Humble Pursuit

    Egos we bend,
    And preconceptions are set aside,
    We bow down,
    To find the truth
    And see the light.

    Stiff minds break,
While Soft thoughts flow like water.
    In a quiet surrender,
    Wisdom whispers.

Our sure things are sand castles,
Washed away by new knowledge tides.
    Empty hands, open hearts,
    Make room to grow.

Truth’s not a thing to hold,
    But an expanding horizon.
    As we drop heavy guesses,
    Our steps get light, quick.

To see clear, we first say
    Our sight has limits.
    When we know we’re blind,
    We start to really see.

The light we want often hides
In the dark of what we think we know.
    Only when we dare ask
    Do we light our way.

  • Assumptions: Unyielding Walls

    Assumptions: Unyielding Walls

    Those who assume
    Build walls of rigid truth,
    Brick by stubborn brick.

    Minds are locked gates,
    Beliefs are unshakeable.

    But those who offer
Hold hands open to the sky,
    Ready to either catch starlight
Or let it slip back to the void.
They bend like reeds in others’ winds.

    I come to you,
    With my palms of possibilities.
    Not with demands, but wonder.

    I arrived with clay
    Waiting to be shaped.
And my mind a blank page,
    Hungry for your colors.

    In my offering, I found
    Our true rhythm.
    Each note is a surprise,
    Each chord is a revelation.

    This music
    Of give and take,
    Of offer and response,
    Writes our song of understanding.

    In the space between
    Assumption and offering,
    Real connection grows.

  • Already, Always

    Already, Always

    You are already
    Who you are,
    Who you wish to be.

    The path you seek
    Is beneath your feet.
    The summit you chase
    Beats within your chest.

    The acorn doesn’t doubt
    The oak in its heart.
    The caterpillar doesn’t fear
    Its butterfly wings.

    You are already
    Who you are,
    Who you wish to be.

    Your journey is
    to uncover and embrace.
