inner wisdom

  • Once Upon a Time

    Once Upon a Time

Time is our most precious gift—
    a true welcoming.
    I welcome you,
    and you welcome me.

    Time is an embrace,
    the quiet thread that connects.
    The author of context,
    of meaning.
    A dimension,
    a perspective—
    the perception born of imagination.

    Do not spend your time
    on what will not remain
    with you,
for as long as your consciousness
    breathes,
    you are.

    Choose—and simultaneously be chosen.
    The people, the moments,
    the story you share.
    Not because you are better,
    or more rare,
    but because your life
    is yours.
    And it matters.

    The peace of this awareness
    gives rise to wisdom:
    we are all equal.

    Only when all are free
    can one be free.

Bread breaks open in the oven.
And for every reason to despair,
    there are endless wonders
    waiting to unveil themselves
to those who keep their eyes—
    and hearts—open.

    Recall how fire sparks:
    a harmonious synchronicity
    of heart, mind, and soul.
    Two scratch one another,
    beneath the surface.

    Do not say,
“We could’ve had a wider field,”
or “We might’ve reached the horizon.”
    “I could’ve, I should’ve”
    Create it.
    Make it real.
    Be wholly, genuinely
    your amazed,
    curious,
    giving self.
    Hear the bells.

    Befriend a tree.
Be the gardener of one tree—
    and all that’s hidden
    shall be revealed.

    The secrets
    have always been there,
    patiently awaiting
    your arrival.

  • A Step

    A Step

    Our steps can only
    move in one direction,
    yet we choose freely
    the line they trace.
    A note of possibilities
    and probabilities.

    We are either giving,
    or retreating into ourselves.
    Receiving,
    or closing the door.
    Kind,
    or indifferent.
    Loving,
    or causing harm.
    Welcoming,
    or disturbing peace.
    Living in harmony,
    or in hurt.
    A friend,
    or a shadow of chaos.
    A storyteller,
or a line written and erased
    at will.
    A voice,
    or an empty cave.

    Balance is the soul’s equilibrium—
    to see the genuine,
    hear the authentic,
    and embrace who we are.

Not every stranger is an enemy,
    nor does every event
    place us in peril.
    And every danger
    calls for a different courage.

    Discernment isn’t obsequious
    and bound
    by ideology or knowledge.
    It is the wisdom
    to see your true self,
    to understand your role
    within the cosmos.
It is the intuition of your spark,
the compass of your mind’s identity,
    the principles
    that guide your soul.

    Before you act,
    pause and ask:
    Who am I?
Would I wish for a friend or a foe?
Does my heart long for love,
or carry the weight of hate?
    Who am I becoming?

    Take a step.
    Be the person
    worthy of your own beatitude,
    Of living happily ever after.
    Not someday,
    but here,
    now,
    today.

  • I Hear Your Voice

    I Hear Your Voice

    I hear your voice,
    I see your impressions,
    Around for thousands of years.

    The older you are,
    The less individual freedom
    You allow.

    As time passes,
    More freedom is bought,
    By collective few.

    You dim your light,
    You work to buy
    Ignorance as truth.

    Don’t you worry,
    You do what you want,
    What you want.

    The only truth to follow,
Is the one in our own darkness
    That shines.

    The seed grows in darkness
    Travels the path
    Towards light.

    It stands tall,
    Shines bright,
    Gives more than it takes.

    Allows freedoms of all
    As a natural life
    Worth living.
